About the Department
The Department of Medical Surgical Nursing is dedicated to preparing nursing students to provide comprehensive care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. The department focuses on developing advanced clinical knowledge, critical thinking abilities, and evidence-based nursing practices required in modern healthcare settings.
Students receive extensive theoretical instruction and practical training in the management of acute and chronic illnesses, perioperative care, emergency nursing, critical care nursing, and rehabilitation. Through supervised clinical experiences in hospitals and healthcare institutions, students gain the confidence and competence necessary to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
