PRS Hospital was established on 7th of September, 1986 by Late P.Ratnaswamy who was an engineer cum builder by profession. PRS group strives to constantly improve, expand and grow this institution with a view to providing quality health care.
As all major organizations, PRS Hospital also had a very humble beginning. Today, it is a very large organization having more than 100 consultants, 30 junior doctors and over 750 staff. From a small mother and child hospital, it has become a tertiary care hospital with more than 30 clinical departments and 300 beds.In 2002, PRS Hospital was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification.
The hospital was upgraded to ISO 9001:2008 standards in 2011 and recently upgraded to the latest ISO 9001:2015 standards in 2016. PRS Hospital also has the prestigious NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers) accreditation since 2013
